Fomorian
Standing tall and imposing, the blue-skinned warriors of Dun Balor tower above all others in both stature and strength. Their intimidating presence is heightened by their muscular frames, adorned with intricate battle scars and tattoos that serve as a reminder of their ferocity in combat. With each swing of their massive weapons, they can bring down even the mightiest of foes, crushing entire armies with ease. The very ground trembles under their feet as they march into battle, exuding an aura of invincibility that strikes fear into the hearts of their enemies.
The Fomorians are a proud and ancient race, descendants of the mighty Fomorian King Balor, who once ruled over Otherworld with an iron fist. Balor was a giant among giants, his blue skin shimmering with an otherworldly sheen that struck fear into the hearts of all who beheld him. His single eye, said to be as bright as the sun itself, could unleash destructive beams that decimated anything in their path.
The Fae, weary of the Fomorians’ thirst for power and domination, banded together to contain their strength and ambition once and for all. It was at the Council of the Nine Glades that the decision was made - King Balor, the most fearsome and ruthless of all Fomorian leaders, would be exiled to Dun Balor, a desolate and isolated mountain separated from the rest of the world by powerful enchantments.
It was in the very halls of Dun Balor that Oxivius Soulstealer wed his beloved Valeria and imprisoned Morrigu’s Dark Druid. In the aftermath of the fall of the mist, the Fomorians have returned to navigate the complexities of integrating with society. No longer confined to the isolated mountain of Dun Balor, they have had to find their place among humans who viewed them with a mix of fear, awe, and curiosity.
